Good morning and greetings in the most exalted name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Praise God for another new day and week in our short lives. I do hope this message will find you in good health and with joyous spirit. It is hard to believe that we are in 3rd week of New Year 2010. 2009 was a year marked by dreadful challenges and at the same time it was a year filled with unparalleled opportunities. Thanks be to God, the Lord has been with my family, KES ministry here and your family there in every step of the way. In a world where the stock markets around the world are falling, banks and businesses are failing, and people everywhere seem to be losing their faith, God has been there to help us. May our focus be placed on the Lord and not on our circumstances. After holidays KES and EAP schools opened today. All the students and teachers returned back to school safely. They spent quality of time with their family and friends during the holidays declared by our government. Now students are so busy with their studies and getting ready for their ensuing examinations. I shared your love and greetings with orphans, students and teachers. As you know KES ministry is facing many financial problems. I hope God will open a way to KES to come out of all financial problems during this year. I am working hard to raise funds from abroad and locally to clear all the debts. We have many promises from God for the year 2010 for KES Ministry. It is easy to run a ministry with hand full of money and bank balances, but it is really a challenging thing to run the ministry without money but having mountain moving faith. Our hearts are so heavy and burdened, but God has been filling our hearts with His peace and grace.. Please pray for following prayer needs of KES Ministry.
Yesterday we had wonderful worship service in CWC. Many people attended the worship service. We did special payers for you during worship service. As always we had wonderful songs by KES choir, special prayers, memory verses, testimonies, praise and worship service and message. Sister Grace delivered first message from Psalms and prepared the gathering to hear God’s Word. Today I delivered message on “You shall not lack any good thing”. All the members of CWC congregation deeply moved with the message and came forward to dedicate and re-dedicated their lives to Jesus Christ. After lunch we had a blessed worship service in EAP school campus. Almost all the students and parents attended the worship service and blessed with songs, testimonies, praise and worship service, special prayers and message from God. I am sending the same message for you. Please share your thoughts. YOU SHALL NOT LACK ANY GOOD THING “The young lions lack and suffer hunger; but those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.” (Psalm 34:10) There are innumerable Christians in the world who grieve considering themselves as birds with broken wings during this Christmas season. Yet another section of the Society longs for love, affection, wisdom and status in the midst of heavy debts, poverty, afflictions and physical infirmities. Taste and see that the Lord is good. All who trust in Him are blessed men and blessed women. Now let us meditate on those verses and see how the Lord Jesus continues to be a blessing to His children in various ways. HE GIVES US PEACE. What is most essential for a family is “Peace”. Many christens complain that there is no peace in their families. Dear family, do not worry about the challenges you encounter. Do not be anxious or despair about the problems that come your way; such as infirmities, hardships, strife’s, unemployment, debt, poverty or whatever it might be. “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made knows to God”. (Phil 4:6). The Lord would meet your needs. He will offer you peace, because He is the “Prince of Peace”. Once when Jesus was sailing in a boat with His disciples, suddenly a tempest arose. Peter, Andrew, John and James were all seasoned fishermen. They were usually not perturbed by any storm or tempest. Yet they all cried in chorus, “Oh! The boat is about to sink! We are about to die”. At that time, the Lord Jesus was sleeping in the boat. They ran to Him and woke Him up and said “Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing”. We also do likewise many times, “Oh Lord! This poverty is torturing me! The infirmities of my family, church, ministry and church problems break my heart! Lord! Do you not care?” we cry. But we often forget that as the eagle carries the young ones on it swings, the Lord cares for us. He bears us – “Like birds flying about, He guards us. “I have covered you with the shadow of My hand” (Isaiah 51:16) “….he who touches you touches the apple of His eyes.” (Zechariah 2:8). “I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands”. (Isaiah 49:16) “The Lord will be a wall of fire all around” (Zechariah 2:5). These are the promise offered by the Lord God. When you are alone, please take these promises, verses, read them, meditate on them and tell the Lord, “Lord, I thank you for being with me”, He will come into your heart, He will solve all your problems. ”For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has mercy on you” (Isaiah 54:10) So, let not your heart be troubled. Be of good cheer with the faith that the Prince of Peace is abiding in you Let Christ come and truly be the Head of your house, of your family and the guest at every meal. “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you”. (Isaiah 26:3). “….and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Phil. 4:7) “Blessed are the peacemakers” (Matt. 5:9) Esther fasted and prayed and brought redemption to the entire Jewish race. How many Esthers do we have now today in this world. We do need many, many Esthers to pray for our nations (America and India) with sincere burden. Let the divine peace reign in your hearts and flow into your family, church, business, ministry and the nation. Then your reward will be great in Heave. May the Prince of Peace will abide in your hearts today and forever. Grace’s elder sister came from UK to celebrate her only daughter’s wedding in India 20th Wednesday evening. Pray for her daughter and son-in-law. They will return back to UK in a week. If it is God’s willing, Grace and me will go to visit her family in UK from their we would like to go to Israel to see the birth place of Jesus Christ. Again God is in control. Please pray for my son John Jr. and daughter Mounika. Pray for all the students studying in KES and EAP schools. Pray for good health and wisdom during this time. Pray for good health and wisdom for me and Grace to continue the KES Ministry for the sake of many poor, needy and lost. This year we decided to do much gospel work to lead many towards saving experience. O.K. dear family, have a blessed Day and Week in Lord Jesus Christ. Our love to you and all the family members there in America. Love to you from sister Grace, KES staff, students, orphans, pastors, widows and all other beneficiaries. Look forward to see your return message within few hours with good news. Please continue your prayers for KES Ministry during this difficult time and do needful to support the Ministry. Remain with lots of love and prayers. God bless you, Yours loving family in India, Brother John and sister Grace. |
